How I work

Should you choose to commission me for your next logo, visual identity, branding or design project you can expect to receive the following level of service:

  1. Bespoke solutions
    I work with you to understand your business and objectives before writing a brief. Designs are then produced and tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.
  2. On time
    I pride myself on delivering on time. If there is an agreed deadline, I will meet it.
  3. On budget
    All work and deliverables are agreed prior to work starting. This means there are no hidden costs or nasty surprises along the way.
  4. Transparency
    Every part of the design process is detailed in a project plan. This approach means everyone knows what stage the project is at and helps keep everything on track.
  5. No outsourcing
    When commissioning me it’s my time you get. You and your project will receive my full attention and years of experience.
  6. Honesty
    Sometimes the truth hurts but I am always honest. If I think a project may fail to deliver on your objectives or if I think your budget could be spent better elsewhere (or with someone else) I will tell you so.
  7. No games of hide & seek!
    Telephone, Email, Twitter, Zoom, WhatsApp, Carrier Pigeon – I am usually very easy to contact and track down. If I am in a meeting or on another line I will return your call as soon as possible and reply to emails swiftly.
  8. Part of the team
    Most clients come to view me as part of their team. I make my client’s lives that little bit easier by working with them to deliver great design, wrestle tight deadlines into submission and take control of print and other third party suppliers.
  9. Free advice
    I have over 20 years of commercial experience. During this time I have gained in-depth knowledge and insight into business and marketing – I like to share this knowledge with my clients.
